The Ka-50 blows off its rotor blades before the pilot ejects, this might have used a similar technique, though I highly doubt they would have used that.

It probably wouldn't. The Luftwaffe preferred highly dangerous designs that were more lethal to their own pilots.

wow, cool that you made one of these. Its one of the most futuristic designs ever, even for todays standards! Its definetely one of my favourite aircrafts(Well my absolutely favourite is the me 163b komet, followed by the american c-119). If I would have enough money,I would built one of these in 1:1 and would test how it flys!
