Its a Maus ultra-heavy tank; only a handful were completed and is considered the largest tracked combat land vehicle ever completed during WWII.

If they built this they should've  made it look like a bunker and then run over everyone infront of it when they tried to torch it out on D-day.

this was kinda intended incase D-day happened, imagine the allied soldiers watching this rolling on the beach head, also on the Russian front to halt the advance of the Soviet Union from entering the German Borders.... scary weapon but proves to the impossible, possible...

I think that if Germany had all the wonder weapons (Me 163, Me 262, V2, V3, Dora, Maus, E-series, P.1000, P.1500, and maybe the Lowe at the beginning of WWII they would have stomped Stalin, preventing the eastern front problems and could have held the western front until the allies developed nukes.

well if Germany had developed all of the Wonder Weapons so fast, we would also have developed Nucklear devices faster as well

Not necessarily, I think we would have nukes at the same time we got them. Hell Germany could have beaten us to nukes in the real timeline if they didn't mass murder an entire generation of scientists.

I said 'we' as a German, Im not trying to argue or anything, I just was saying that Germany would have gotten Nuklear devices faster if the had these weapons faster as well

The scariest part of it all is that part of this was actually built: the turret and guns, which were originally slated for the Battlecruiser Gneisenau and were of the same design as the Bismark's turrets, but they decided instead to put it on a giant tank. That too was scratched, so they mounted the gun at Trondheim in Norway for coastal defense...

the turret and guns are STILL THERE today.

Yeah, let's be glad and mad that they couldn't build this, glad because we'd be fucked, but mad because fucking awesome.

"If this was Built" it wouldn't have gotten a Mile from the Factory before being targeted by a Division of B-17's and
blown to Scrap.... once the Germans lost control of the Air,
Armored Forces were irrelevant.

I've seen some other versions of this Vehicle and I think
there was more than one Design floating around, some had a
Twin-Gun 'Secondary' Turret from a Naval Cruiser. Most articles
I have ever seen about them all mentioned that this sort
of Nonsense was thrown out of Albert Speer's office with
notes saying 'don't waste our Time, never mind the Resources.'

Standard bombs wouldnt of worked armour too thick, but Tallboys and Grandslams could get through, i think...

Air Attack always beats Armored Ships/
Vehicles but Armor most of the time beats guys on foot... the Ratte was a good Idea, just like the Maginot Line was (and Herrenmann Krupp had the answer to that) IF the Enemy Guys do EXACTLY WHAT THE ATTACKERS EXPECT AND PLAN FOR...
That's what makes War so much Fun, figure out what the other guys DIDN'T
EVER THINK ABOUT and they are your
Bitchez...
P.S. What if the Ratte was made of Titanium, instead of Inconnel Nickel?)

Air Attack beats armoured ships? In the second world war, particuarly the evac from Dunkirk very few ships were sunk by Stuka Divebombers, more vessels were sunk by Arty. Even torpedo bombers had a hard time hitting vessels.
Remember Second world War Bombers were highly inaccurate, 1 inch of target equates to 1 mile off target at the standard bombing heights of WWII. Fighters standard armament had no hope in hell of penetrating the Rattes armour, of even if they did they might not cause significant damage. The only weapon that was carried by bombers that would be capable of penetrating the Ratte armour was a Tallboy or Grandslam bomb, these bombs caused were designed to pentrate many metres of Reinforced Concrete or Steel [so bunkers, mountains (that has actually happened, rather than shooting up some railways, the Allies collapsed a mountain with a Tallboy bomb) and so on], then explode with devastating force...

Dude, what Alternate Reality/gamespace
do you inhabit? from Pearl Harbor to the Sinking of the Yamato, WWII proved
Decisively that Air Attack beats Surface Ships. Period. That is why No
Navy after that War built another
"Battleship" in the traditional sense, and it is why any Nation that wants to
project Naval Power builds Aircraft Carriers (and Submarines, which are hard to find)
Get over it, any Land Vehicle like that would be so Slow and Obvious that
if it got 10 Miles from where it was built, that would have been because they were driving in the Rain, and
at Night.
Remember, it was Albert Speer, the head of the German DOD Production
Office (Waffenamnt) who threw the designers of this out of his office and told them never to return.

I am not saying that the airpower couldnt do it, i am saying FIGHTERS/BOMBERS couldnt do it, but bombers could

Through Concentrated attacks from fighters equipped with AP Bombs for Dive bombing or torpedo bombers were most of those loses to shipping. And lets not forget that Pearl Harbour was a SURPRISE ATTACK in the sense that alot of vessels were in berth not ready to fight off the japanese fighter aircraft. And the fact is alot of vessels were not sunk by Fighter Aircraft, compared to Submerisbles or Surface vessels, the stats prove it, alot of vessels that get hit by the fighters were repaired and brought back into service.

Large tanks were suspect to attack from the air, but lets not forget that the Ratte had 8 20mm Flak guns, one in a Quad mount, so the aircraft wouldnt have it all their own way, and i know that flak only accounted for 10% of Aircraft kills, but if you have 8 guns focussing on one target....

Fighters were simply not up to the Job of taking down the Ratte, its not like hitting a ship, were you can just sink it, Bombers would of had to be used, and the standard bomb would not have the explosive punch, the Grandslam or Tallboy would

I know that Albert Speer cancelled the plans for the Ratte and Monster,

Yes this is terrifying, but consider this. Germany was being force on its back foot by 1943. This would have taken the same production power to build as upwards of 50 Tiger tanks. This would have killed germany to produce.
